I am currently in my final semester at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, as a Fine art and Illustration double major. My art is a conversation between abstraction and representation, the expected and the unexpected. Most of all it is my means of escaping into the unknown, of exploring my sense of self and where I am in the world. There are so many things that are unanswerable, and so much distortion in our perceptions. Art is my way of getting closer to that which I find perplexing, intriguing, mystifying and mysterious in myself and in the world.
In my most recent work I have been using digital photography and mirrors. This way I work from reality but end up with something far removed from it.
