This is a cropped image of a proof of a relief print series that I am working on for an independent study.
It is my final semester at AIB ( if all goes as planned), and I am super busy with work for my illustration portfolio. I am working on a series of portraits of people I live/have lived with, and I am gathering images and info for a sort of visual essay on a group of musicians under the disliked label “Freak Folk” (they prefer “Naturalismo” or just “the Family”). This group is very colorful and I should have a lot of fun creating a sort of “Family Album” for them. I am also working on illustrating some poems and lyrics and revamping some old work.
Besides all of that, I am working on another huge painting using photographs I took through a mirrored tube. It is like a distorted kaleidoscope.
